OME Feedback-- LAST CHANCE!!!
Posted: Sat Dec 11, 2010 3:37 am
Dear All-
Thanks to all those who have responded to the previous request for feedback-- very helpful and gratifying.
For those of you who were waiting to get closer to the deadline....well, it's now here. Your thoughts, critiques, and suggestions are a critical component of this application. Feedback from the community is very important!!!
Again-- we are trying to obtain more funding to continue OME's work (the project is currently funded until Oct 2011).
OME exists to provide useful tools for scientific imaging. We have various ways of measuring the utility of our tools (downloads, installs, upgrade checks), but nothing beats real user feedback. Our funders need to see your words and comments to assess how we are doing, and whether they should continue funding us.
We're therefore requesting you send any feedback you have, whether positive or negative. Particularly helpful are comments that suggest priorities for the future.
You can send to this list, or directly to me. All direct responses will not be published, but will be included in our funding applications, and so subject to normal peer review.
Our application goes in mid-December, so just a few days away. Please do send us your thoughts, no matter how brief.
As always, thanks for your support.
Cheers,
Jason
