Small bug in ScanR metadata reader

Hi,

We're using the Olympus ScanR extensively for screening. It's great that BioFormats and OMERO handles this data well. There is one small bug in the metadata reader/interpreter: while all exposure times in the .xml file are actually in milliseconds (not that that is documented or anything ...), they are being interpreted as if they are in seconds. Could that be changed?

Thanks,
- Damir

Hi Damir,

Thank you for the reminder about this problem. There is now a proposed fix:

https://github.com/openmicroscopy/bioformats/pull/1187

and I would expect this to be included in the 5.0.3 release.

Hi Melissa,

Thanks much for the quick reply. I look forward to seeing the fix in 5.0.3.

Would you like some more ScanR data for testing? Our datasets are typically fairly large screens but I can select a few smaller ones to transfer to you.

Cheers,
- Damir

Hi Damir,

At this point, I don't think we need any additional data - I was able to reproduce this problem with some of our existing data. If you notice any further ScanR problems, though, then we may ask for an example screen.
