CZI import in Omero 5

I've just imported a CZI image file that was captured in Zen software into Omero but for some reason its not being read, when I double click on the thumbnail a window appears on the screen with a grey box (no image) - see attached screenshot. Is this a known issue?

Thanks for uploading the file for us to take a look at. I imported this using OMERO 4.4.10 and OMERO 5.0.0-rc4. In both cases, I got a thumbnail, and I can view the image correctly.

Which version of OMERO are you using? If it's not the latest version, I would highly recommend upgrading if that's possible. There may have been improvements in the support for the CZI format which will correct this problem.

If you are already on the latest version, I would suggest taking a look at the OMERO log files both during and immediately after the import--you might see errors here, maybe relating to not being able to generate a thumbnail. And you might also want to check for any errors when you try to open an image--you certainly shouldn't be getting a grey background like this.
