I installed OMERO at our company and today we were able to run the first real tests of DropBox. We take an image as a stack of Tiffs and the expectation was that the first image would be imported from the whole stack. As soon as the next image was acquired, it would be attached to the first stack. Etc. Unfortunately, this as not the case. Instead a single Tiff image was imported. Then a stack with 2 images was imported. Then with 3, ... so that in the end there were n-stacks each with one more stack.
Is it possible to have the original stack overwritten?
One more thing to the problem (I tried a few more things out):
When images are imported with DropBox (which have have the same file name), and the file already exists, the existing image [in OMERO] is not overwritten, but rather the file is simply re-imported.
For us this is especially disadvantageous, since we work with Tiff-stack, which are extended by another image regularly. If a stack consists of 10 Tiffs, then that results in 10 Tiff-stacks with the same name, with only one image in the first, 2 in the second, etc.

ich habe in unserer Firma Omero installiert und heute haben wir das erste Mal richtige Tests auf der DropBox laufen lassen. Wir nehmen Bilder als Tiff-Stapel auf und die Erwartung war, dass er zunächst ein Bild als Stapel durch die DropBox hochlädt. Sobald das zweite Bild aufgenommen wurde und an den Tiff-Stapel angehängt wurde, wird dier ebenfalls hochgeladen und überschreibt den vorhandenen Stapel usw. Leider war es nicht der Fall, sondern es wurde ein Tiff-Bild hochgeladen, anschließend ein Stapel mit 2 Bildern, mit 3 Bildern ... so dass man am Ende n-Stapel vorhanden waren mit jeweils einem Bild mehr.
Ist es möglich, dass die Datei überschrieben wird?

Nochmal kurz zum Problem (habe noch etwas rumprobiert):
Wenn Bilder mit der Dropbox-Funktion (die den selben Dateinamen haben) hochgeladen werden, und die Datei bereits existiert, wird die bereits hochgeladene Datei nicht überschrieben, sondern die Datei wird einfach nochmal angelegt.
Das ist besonders für uns leider von Nachteil, da wir mit Tiff-Stapeln arbeiten, welche in regelmäßigen Abständen durch ein Bild erweitert werden. Besteht der Tiff-STapel am Ende aus 10 Bildern, so resultieren hieraus 10 Tiff-STapel mit dem selben Namen, wobei der erste nur ein Bild hat, der zweite Stapel zwei Bilder und so weiter bis zum letzten Stapel mit 10 Bildern.
