Hi

I have problem bringing up ROI tool when viewing the image(omero client launching from Fiji)

I could bring up the ROI tool if I launch omero client directly or from java webstart from web, but I saw the error in insight client log "2013-02-22 11:22:34,093 ERROR [nts.measurement.view.MeasurementViewerUI] (entQueue-0) Problem while handling ROI No ROIShape on coord T: 0 Z: 0"

Please advise.

Hi
Do you see the same issue when using OMERO.insight directly (i.e. not as a plugin)?
How did you generate the ROI? using the drawing tool, script, etc.

Thanks
Jmarie

HI

I could bring up the tool if I use Insight client.

Here is how I bring up ROI tool, After I click view image, the "Bring up the ROI" tool is 9th icon at the top bar.

Is it some problem with Fiji/ImageJ plugin with Omero?

Another thing I noticed if I start insight client from Fiji is that after few activities, insight client application is not responding anymore. I could not close it either. I have to close Fiji to close the insight client.

But I do not have such problem if I start Insight Client directly.

thanks and regards,

Thanks for the information
From what you describe, we have a problem with the loading of the ROI when used as ImageJ/Fiji plugin and when also following a succession of asynchronous calls. Any call in particular you can think of could lead to the freeze.

I have created a ticket https://trac.openmicroscopy.org.uk/ome/ticket/10467

Thanks
Jmarie

Hi Jmarie

I could not remember any particular activity that cause the freeze. But it was rather happen here and there with Fiji plugin. Sometimes it was just viewing of the images and then freeze.

thanks and regards,
