Read Only Mode

Hi,

is it possible to run the OMERO server in read only mode? We are trying to sort out a disk/database issue but want users to be able to access their data while we work on it.

Hi Matt,

at the moment, no, it's not possible. The server tries to create row in the session table on startup. We're aware of the problem and have added your request to https://trello.com/c/PhDHJT4n/82-proper-read-only-state

If there's anything we can help with until that's implemented, let us know.
