Fiji (imageJ) and 4.4.1 plugin

Hi,

I have upgraded the sever to 4.4.1 and intalled the 4.4.1 client and all seems to work. However, I also installed the imageJ plugin. I put it in the Fiji plugin folder and restarted Fiji. Open the plugin, login and the insight window comes up and acts fine. However, when I try "view in ImageJ" the LOCI import window comes up but when I hit OK Fiji reports "logging in" then "Populating metadata" and nothing else happens. The image is never imported. I have attached the relevant log bits.

PS. 4.4.1 imageJ client installed in the plugins folder of FIJI and FIji and Loci updated. Running osx 10.7.4 java.version: 1.6.0_33

Thanks in advance
Scott

I think you don't have the latest loci_tools.jar.
It might not be in the Fiji repository yet...

You can find a link on the downloads page :
http://www.openmicroscopy.org/site/supp ... /downloads

At least, that's how I solved it.

Thanks,

That did the trick. Not sure what version i had but its update mechanism must have been pointing to an old version. I tried to updated LOCI through its built-in update menu and it downloaded the trunk and daily builds and installed them but those versions didn't work. But, when i reinstalled LOCI from FIJI the update mechanism is broken so that would have been a clue. The version i downloaded from your link works and updated correctly.

Thanks again,

Scott
