Blitz startup error

I followed the CentOS instructions stickied at the top of this forum and everything seems to be working fine.

However, I'm just wondering about some warnings in the Blitz logfile:

2010-06-04 14:01:45,517 WARN [ java.util.prefs] ( main) Could not create system preferences directory. System preferences are unusable.
2010-06-04 14:01:45,530 WARN [ java.util.prefs] ( main) Prefs file removed in background /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-openjdk-1.6.0.0.x86_64/jre/.systemPrefs/prefs.xml

any ideas on how to fix this (I'm not a Java guy at all

Hi Van,

this is a known issue with some Java installations. You can read more under Troubleshooting. We're investigating the replacement of the Java Preferences API in 4.2 to avoid this issue.
