Java update

Hi, can we update our server's Java to 7v11 (11-13-13 security patch), i.e will Omero 4.4.5 run with this? We currently have 7v9 installed. If so, is there anything we need to update in the Omero configuration to recognize the updated Java version?

Hi,
This should be fine - OMERO should not be affected by this update.
It would be worth double checking the JAVA_HOME environment variable is kept in sync with your new Java version, and would suggest restarting OMERO immediately after the update of Java.
