Open Microscopy Environment

Hi,

i have just finished installation of the server on Debian system (stable/Lenny) and
it seems to be working fine. Many thanks for this great software!

I was following the instructions on the web page and most of it went quit
straightforward but there were a few things (in particular, the different
users and directories) i found a bit difficult to follow and spent considerable
time sorting these out. A brief explanation at the start and a consistent
naming of the dirs would help a lot. I have also found a few additional
minor problems.
I would be happy to give specific suggestions for changes in the notes; could
send a list, but have edited versions of the notes i could send, but i would be
also ready to contribute editing the text - whichever way is most convenient.

we don't run the website as a wiki, so it's not possible to let you edit it directly, but we'd certainly appreciate any suggestions you have. I've attached the source for the page, which you can modify and re-attach. Via diff, we can then apply your changes. Alternatively, you can include a bullet point list of changes you'd like to see. Either way is fine.
