Open Microscopy Environment

Just got a new HP laptop (thanks Dundee team!) - and it is Windows 8.

Still have chance to roll back to 7.

Is somebody aware of any limitations or problems?

I have been using OMERO on Windows 8 - running under Parallels - and it has been fine, no problems or issues with OMERO.insight and OMERO.web that I have seen. (The Windows 8 UI is another matter!)

I have found they both run noticeably faster in Windows 8 then in 7 - accepting some of this improvement may be a Parallels artefact.
