Hello everyone, I hope this is the correct forum to post this in, forgive me if it is not.

During the weekend of the 21-23 October 2011 I will be taking part in the first UK Give Camp. This is where a group of programmers, and other technical people, get together for a weekend to help charities by building software for them.

I was wondering if your group might wish to be considered as a charity for this event and if there was any items in your development backlog that you thought might be able to be completed in a one weekend "hackathon" style event. If so, please drop me an email at gary@garyshort.org

Hi Gary. We all appreciate the you thinking of us for the development camp. With many tasks in the backlog as any sizable software project is bound to have it would help greatly if you could give us some idea as to the skills that are available. The development areas that we could put forward include:

• Java server
• Java client (Swing)
• Python core
• Python scripting
• Python web (Django)
• HTML templating, CSS and JavaScript
• C++ core
• Matlab scripting
