Omero 4.2 Importer

Hi,
I just upgraded to omero 4.2, and it seems to be working great. When I use the importer for zeiss lsm files, I browse to a certain folder that has many lsm files, and I click on just one file that I want to import. However, the importer imports every lsm file in the folder. I don't see any options in the gui to modify this behaviour; do I have any other options?

Hi Chris,

That seems like an odd behavior. There is functionality to collect all images which are part of the same experiment and import them as one, and perhaps that is the case here? We do this because in many cases these file are linked at a deeper (metadata) level so we always try to intelligently import whole collections.

We don't have any options to turn this feature off at present, but I will see if its possible to set up - perhaps a toggle can be added to the import dialog to allow this.
