File size limit

Does OMERO has a file size limit? many of my original data files (lif) are 2G and more.

Hi,

The simple answer is No. There are no file size restrictions.
But there is a file number restriction when you are using the Insight (GUI) for imports (<2500 files per instance).

We have imported files (>85GB-single file), so ~2GB files should be straight forward.
The performance(i.e time take for the import) is format specific (tiff, jpeg,stk,movies,etc...).
