Huygens .h5 files

Postby Dale » Mon Jun 30, 2014 3:25 pm

I'd like to be able to process Huygens .h5 (might also need the .hgsb file that always gets saved with the .h5 file) in imageJ and ICY. I've heard this is the place to ask if you can add this filetype to the bioformats file reader. Is this something that can be achieved? I'll happily upload sample files if needed. thanks

We do have plans to support .h5 data from Huygens as noted in this ticket on our issue tracking system:

https://trac.openmicroscopy.org.uk/ome/ticket/4104

We don't yet have an anticipated completion date, but if you would like to be automatically notified of updates please let us know and we'll CC you.

I will also like to be cc'd on any progress here - we use a lot of .h5 from Huygens here for Matlab processing, the format's great for manipulating very large stacks. Thanks in advance!

That's a very important topic for us as well. Would you mind putting me on CC for this ticket as well?

Thanks
