version 5.2.7 to the version 5.3.3 ?

Hello,
Is-it possible to upgrade directly my server from the version 5.2.7 to the version 5.3.3 ?
Do i have to upgrade the database or just using the package OMERO.server-5.3.3-ice3x-byy.zip?

Dear Faisal,

Yes, you can upgrade OMERO directly from version 5.2.7 to 5.3.3 by working your way through the instructions at http://www.openmicroscopy.org/site/supp ... grade.html. The "Upgrade your database" step is indeed one of those you must follow along the way. It is worth working through this page in advance to get a good idea what is involved so that there are no surprises during the maintenance window when you actually back up and upgrade. Ok, i see that the section "Upgrade your database" concerns users upgrading from a 5.2. So i have to do it !
