Administrator importing with Insight

Is there a way for administrators to import data to another group's area without being a member of that group?

Dear Matt,

Not with Insight I'm afraid. It's also unlikely to be added as at this point we are just doing basic maintenance on it while investigating and prototyping ideas for a next-generation web-based import. This is one of the limitations of Insight that we plan to mention in Thursday's import workshop at our annual users' meeting next week. In the meantime the CLI importer does allow administrators to import into any group and also offers various other features not found in Insight. I hope that suffices as a stopgap until a new graphical importer is developed. Of course it is also possible to import the data using Insight then change its owner and group afterward using the CLI.
