OMERO.Figure label position not working for some users

Dear all,

one of our users are having an issue where they can't adjust label positions inside OMERO.Figure: no matter when they choose, the labels are always on top of the image. This seems to be happening only to one user; it's working properly for everyone else. They've tested it on Google Chrome 67.0.3396.99 and Firefox Quantum 61.0 (on a Mac, I think). I couldn't find any topic with a similar problem, so I'm curious whether you've seen this before!

Thanks for the feedback. This issue has been reported in a thread, last post at http://lists.openmicroscopy.org.uk/pipe ... 06815.html
There are some kinda painful work-arounds suggested (see link) but unfortunately I haven't managed to reproduce this yet which makes it tricky to address.

It was reported above on some Windows machines (see http://lists.openmicroscopy.org.uk/pipe ... 06804.html) but I've never seen it on my Mac, so if your user is actually using a Mac, that would be good to know?

I managed to reproduce the bug on a Windows laptop.
PR opened at https://github.com/ome/omero-figure/pull/301 but not tested yet...

Hi Eric.

The PR is tested, is working and merged, so we should have that fix released soon.

In testing, I worked out that this bug is due to touch-screen functionality and if you disable the touch-screen on your Windows machine (and restart your browser) the bug goes away.
