Performance Issues with ROI Visualisation

Dear OME team,

Here is our problem:

Our model is generating a heatmap overlap for every image. We split this overlap into 5 to 10 Omero binary ROI. When opening the full image viewer in Omero Web and clicking "Show ROIs", it takes from 30 seconds to 1 minute to show all the data. Could you suggest a faster approach or tuning options within the Omero environment to improve confidence area overlays in Omero Web?

You could try using our newer/alternative image viewing application OMERO.iviewer

OMERO.iviewer will allow you to view ROIs, provided there are less than 500 per image.

It should perform better at loading the ROIs for your images.
