Ola just tested your branch.

Do you mean "our branch" as our updated git branch that we sent you or the "new server" (you know what this is)?

By commenting out the import of "pslid," she was able to start up the webclient and log in from multiple browsers. I.e. we're not seeing the same thing happen.

we are importing pslid from several python codes. could you tell me from which code you commented out the "pslid"?

Do you have any local code changes that haven't been committed to your branch yet?

Yes. probably we better check our pslid package.

Could you perhaps share your web configuration with us? (omitting passwords, etc) Do you want to upload the compressed OMEROweb-DEBUG.log to see if we can pinpoint anything?

We are configuring the "new server" which you may know (ascb). So I guess you already have the access to the server. I attached the log file.

I'm asking is there any difference between the git branch and the code that is failing, i.e. the new server? If there is, let's try to get them synced, because otherwise it is very difficult to help.

Sure, but for others' benefit the logs and config info needs to be here so we can figure out what's going on.

With Carlos' help, I found a commit that may be at the root of this problem: http://git.openmicroscopy.org/?p=ome.git;a=commit;h=45512d6 I've applied this to your branch (patch attached below). Let me know if this helps.
